Today, let’s zoom in on the most powerful tool you already own: The Gift of Choice.

The legendary John C. Maxwell said, “One of the greatest gifts you will ever receive is the gift to make choices”. Think of choice as your life’s remote control. You have the power to select the channel, change the volume, and choose the direction!

Why choice is the ultimate power-up

• You get Freedom: Choice means you’re not locked into one path.
• You’re in Control: It puts you in the driver’s seat of your life.
• You Can Level Up: You have the ability to make your life better and reach your potential.
• You’re the Director: You can choose to define your circumstances—not let your circumstances define you.

The truth is, the longer you live, the more your life is shaped by the choices you make. But here’s the catch: Choosing not to choose is still a choice!. When you fail to choose, you essentially hand your remote control (your gift of choice) to someone else, and you lose control of your life’s direction.

Your RISE Challenge: Think of one thing you’ve been putting off where you felt like you had “no choice” or were letting someone else decide. Make a choice about it. Remember, very few choices are final and can often be reversed if needed!
